Partial Panama Canal Transit
Today experience the thrill of a partial transit of the Panama Canal, a 100-year-old engineering marvel and massive modern construction project. The tour starts at the Amador Causeway where you will board the ferry for the start of your canal journey. You will enter the canal at the north end of the Gaillard Cut, one of the main points of interest for visitors because it was carved through the Continental Divide and is full of history and geological value. Your boat will travel the Cut on the way to Pedro Miguel Locks and will even see part of the Panama Canal expansion and the Centennial Bridge which crosses over the Canal. Also visit the Pedro Miguel Locks and Miraflores Lake, which is a small artificial body of fresh water that separates Pedro Miguel from Miraflores Locks.

This tour does not operate daily. Please check with us to see the availability. Due to the low water levels in the Gatun Lake, which provides all the water for canal operations, the Panama Canal has implemented strict water conservation guidelines. These measures restrict transit schedules and may cause changes in our tour departure times. Please contact us the day before your tour to reconfirm check-in and departure times.
The tour can also be operated as Full Transit (Depending on schedule – 9 hours’ duration).
