This nature/adventure trip is all about green Costa Rica with a ‘chic’ touch of elegance in your accommodation. The tours include rafting down one of Costa Rica’s most famous rivers: Pacuare; the adventure continue on the river to the lesser known El Silencio Lodge in the beautiful area of Bajos del Toro; at the end, transfer to Manuel Antonio to enjoy some relaxing days at the beautiful beach. On your arrival at the International Airport in San Jose, our driver will be waiting for you for a private direct transfer to your Hotel Grano de Oro 4*, a converted tropical Mansion, considered a true oasis in the heart of the city… After settling in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax at your hotel or visit the city on your own. Early departure from your hotel in San José, traveling east towards the Caribbean and crossing the amazing Braulio Carrillo National Park. On route, stop for a hearty “Tico” traditional Costa Rica breakfast before arriving at the river. After safety instructions, the first day’s rapids are ready to welcome you to the fun of the Pacuare River, rated as one of the top rivers in the world! Before you know it you’ll arrive at the unique Pacuare Jungle Lodge, where the enormous trees and wildlife live in harmony next to the lodge. After yet another serving of Costa Rica’s tastiest coffee and a hearty breakfast, you will pack up and load the rafts in preparation for paddling down the Pacuare gorge past gushing waterfalls, serene pools and pounding rapids. Your morning will be adrenaline-packed, running Class III rapids. You will then be picked up and transferred to El Silencio Lodge & Spa for overnight. This eco-friendly lodge is an inspired natural immersion retreat to delight in the charming highlands of Costa Rica’s central volcanic range, featuring emerald landscapes & waterfalls, farm-to-table cuisine, a select spa, and an exhilarating eco-adventure park. The treasures of Bajos del Toro aren’t gold or silver. The treasures are of a bright green and brilliant blue. The Hidden Treasure Hike in the Bajos del Toro area is taken from El Silencio Lodge in the Cloud Forest. From is runs the Desague River, a body of water tinted deep blue. This amazing wonder contains a mesmerizing collection of sky-like tones. Experience this unique ecosystem with an experienced naturalist guide who can point out wildlife and hidden treasures. Bajos del Toro – Manuel Antonio National ParkDay 6: Bajos del Toro – Manuel Antonio National Park

Breakfast and private transfer approximately 3-4 hours to Manuel Antonio National Park, hosting the Arenas del Mar Beach and Resort. This tropical resort overlooking the ocean, surrounded by a lush rainforest, has beautiful swimming pools, an on-site casual restaurant and a luxurious spa. In addition it is one of the few properties with its own beach access. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Arenas del Mar 4*. Meals: B

Manuel Antonio National Park HikeDay 7: Manuel Antonio National Park Hike

The park is made up of numerous trails, taking you through the rainforest and onto a number of pristine white sand beaches, only reachable through the park. The park is alive with tropical butterflies, birds, monkeys, snakes, iguanas, sloths, orchids and more. On this tour you’ll be able to learn about their life cycle and their special abilities and behaviors. For those that love nature and exploration, the walk within this park will be unforgettable! Canopy Safari tour at Manuel Antonio National ParkDay 8: Canopy Safari tour at Manuel Antonio National Park

The Canopy Safari tour begins with a drive through the rainforest out to the canopy site, during which frequent stops are made to observe the wonderful varieties of local flora and fauna. Once at the site, the company’s professional bilingual guides will prepare and assist tour members for the zip line. The canopy tour includes 18 platforms, 10 zip lines, 2 repel lines, and one suspension bridge. To top it all off, there is the so-called “Tarzan Swing” which can be attempted” a device that’ll have tour members swinging and flying through the air like Tarzan himself.
