On your arrival at the international airport in Managua, you will be transferred by shuttle bus to your hotel Hyatt Place Managua 5* for overnight. Meals: –

In the morning, you will visit the “Loma de Tiscapa” in Managua. See the ruins of Somoza’s Palace and views to the new Managua getting slowly built towards south and Masaya. Then, continue to Leon City. Check in at your hotel.
In the afternoon, go for an amazing adventure, the volcano boarding in active Cerro Negro volcano. Hike to the top (Less than 1h) and enjoy overwhelming views; once you reach the active crater sulfur coming out from many places and views to neighbouring volcanoes such Telica, Momotombo, Pilas-El Hoyo, as well as the Pacific Ocean, 20 miles away complete the experience. Then, after some instructions get ready for the ride of your life! Slide down the ashes of the volcano doing the “Sandboarding”; an exciting sport which allows visitors to descend the black sands of Cerro Negro strapped onto a board. This morning, enjoy some activities typical of the Nicaraguan culture. Visit a local market and find fruits and vegetables unknown to you. Then, visit a Sutiavan family, who live and cook as they always have. Spend time with Doña Ana, who loves to tell you stories about her family history while she reveals her secrets of the Leonese cuisine. After this workshop you will know how to cook a typical Nicaraguan meal for your friends at home. After this adventure you will transfer to Granada City. On the way, stop to visit the Masaya National Park; an active volcano currently displays gaseous activity and most recently a red-glowing lava lake was originated and it is visible inside the main crater of the volcano. Arrival in Granada and have free time to relax and explore the city. Overnight at hotel Plaza Colon 3* sup. Meals: B-L

Day 4: Granada City – Lake Nicaragua & Zopango Private Island– Granada CityDay 4: Granada City – Lake Nicaragua & Private Island– Granada City

Today, travel by boat to a well-preserved private island (with more than 6000 sq. meters of luxurious vegetation) with a unique natural environment, incredible views of Mombacho Volcano and access to the calm waters of Asese bay. Enjoy a day stay in the island and its amenities such as kayaks and swimming in the Lake. Lunch included. When returning to Granada in the evening you have the chance to enjoy a breathtaking sunset on Lake Nicaragua!

 Granada City – Chocolate Work Shop – Tola AreaDay 5: Granada City – Mombacho Nature Reserve – Chocolate Work Shop – Tola Area

Breakfast and time to discover Granada. Go for a traditional horseback carriage, pulled by two horses and conducted by a local driver and visit some of the city’s most important landmarks: La Casa de los Tres Mundos, San Francisco Convent, Iglesia la Merced and its tower from where you can get great views of the city and “Café de Las Sonrisas”, one of the first coffees in the American continent run by hearing-impaired people! Then, enjoy some interactive family activity! Visit a Chocolate museum in company of your guide; in this workshop we will give you a quick explanation of the chocolate process (from roasting to making chocolate). At the end of the mini workshop you will leave with a sample of Nicaraguan chocolate made by yourself! Then you will be transferred south, to the Pacific Ocean.

Morning is at leisure in this beautiful resort. Later in the afternoon our driver will pick you up to drive you to Managua City to spend your last night.
